The Ocean Magic 12.15pm Adventure trip July 23rd, took us toward San Juan Island where we encountered several members of J Pod foraging in calmer, blue water. We had glimpses of the little orca calves as they surprised us with multiple tail-lob and breach behaviours. Orca calves are always a big hit for our guests. Our all girl crew, Capt. Anna, Mika, Marnie and Arleigh, provided an education on all things marine.They shared a wealth of knowledge with our guests. We could see other guests on the water enjoying themselves in Prince of Whales Zodiacs. We were able to stop by Trial Island on our return to the harbour to see Harbour Seals hauled out on the rocks. What a magical encounter with Southern Resident Orca once again.Marie, Orca-Magic
