Zodiac Wildlife Adventures Aug 15 9am & Noon

Our 9am Zodiac Wildlife Adventure was skippered by the infamous Captain Mark "Mallard". Mallard took our passengers out of Victoria's picturesque inner harbor and out west in search of Orca. Or travel took us past Race Rocks Ecological Reserve http://www.racerocks.com/ and out into the middle of the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Our Skippers Keen eyes and his years on the water soon paid off, right in front of our Zodiac 300 meters ahead in all this open water surfaced T14 Pender. The adult male transient Orca travels the coastline alone most of the time. His diet of Harbor Seals and Harbor Porpoise are plentiful in these waters. We enjoyed out time viewing this apex predator then headed back through Race Rocks and took in the sights of Sea Lions, Harbor Seals, Elephant Seals and the wide variety of Marine Birds.
The Noon Zodiac Adventure with skipper Mark "Mallard" took us out west again. This time to catch up with T20 and T21 a male and female Transient Orca. This pair of Killer Whales were making their way along the coastline and were a treat to see. Our passengers were filled with Marks in depth knowledge of Transient Orcas and our other marine wildlife. A trip back through Race Rocks was again a treat with its variety of Marine Mammals and Birds. Just a perfect Wild Life Adventure with Prince Of Whales!
