The Ocean Magic 9am Marine Wildlife Adventure was set against sunny skies. Our Skipper Shaun "Saltchuck" took us west along Vancouver Islands picturesque shoreline. We all enjoyed the calm waters off Whirl Bay and enjoyed spotting Bald Eagles and Harbour Seals on Church Rock. Our trip then took us to the coastline of Washington State, here we caught up with a Grey Whale. This gentle giant was hugging the shore line as it made its way west. Such a peaceful animal to watch as it rose for air in the shallow waters. Our crew of Rachel and Scott kept everyone well informed of the marine environment and answered all the questions our passengers posed. We then made a pass through Race Rocks Marine Ecological Reserve and took in the sights of Stellar Sea Lions, California Sea Lions, Harbour Seals and the variety of marine birds.
