Our noon Zodiac wildlife adventure was skippered by Tyler "Sideshow". The waters were calm and skies blue, a perfect afternoon for adventure on the west coast. We set out of Victoria's picturesque inner harbour and out past the breakwater into the Strait of Juan De Fuca. Here Tyler headed south in search of Orca. We caught up with the Orca just a few miles south of Victoria and our veteran skipper set us up nicely to watch them swim past. These were the resident "fish eating" Orca. These magnificent animals put on a wonderful show as they made their way past with spy hops and breaches. Now if this was not enough, we headed a few more miles south-west and caught up with not one, not two but three Humpback Whales. These gentle giants were a treat to see, our passengers were all smiles as we watched these whales show tail on each dive. Our trip then made its way to Race Rocks Ecological Reserve. Here we viewed the abundant sea lions and harbor seals. Just a truly awesome adventure with Prince of Whales!
