Ocean Magic Wildlife Adventure Sept 11 12:15pm

The beautiful weather and sights of the stunning scenery in this local were a welcome change from the greyness of the past two days. The 'Prince of Whales' wildlife trip this Friday, Sept 11th, set off to find the Orca that had been reported heading north. The 12.15 pm Ocean Magic 2 with Capt Tyler in the wheel-house and crew members, Marnie, Mika and Arliegh on board, set a course for Haro Strait. The Southern Resident Orca were moving fast toward Turn Point at the north end of Haro Strait. We encountered them traveling in family groups . It was awesome to see so many whales following the shoreline of Stuart Island. With flat calm seas all around, warm temperatures once again, and Orca, our guests experienced a spectacular trip. Even some sightings of Dall's Porpoise on our return journey made for a perfect day.
