The September 18th 12:15 Ocean Magic, with veteran skipper Tyler "Sideshow" at the helm, sailed into the Strait Of Juan De Fuca into the wonders of the West Coast. As we started our search for wildlife we got a call of Pacific White Sided Dolphins closer into shore. The Ocean Magic was quickly on scene with the energetic mammals. They were riding in the waves and putting on a amazing display as they went wave to wave, leaping free from the crystal clear water. Our adventure then took us further out into the strait where we caught up with a Humpback Whale. Our passengers enjoyed the sights of this large mammal as it took its breaths and made deep dives showing tail each time. Capt Tyler then took the Ocean Magic over to some Transient Killer Whales. They group of four transients were identified as the T30's. These apex predators of the worlds oceans were a wonder to see.
