Our Noon Zodiac left Victoria's picturesque inner harbor into calm seas and a high overcast. Capt. James "Radar" a veteran skipper with Prince Of Whales, took us on a great adventure. Radar had heard reports of whales at East Point, a good run from Victoria, he navigated
Haro Strait and past Stuart Island State Park and on to East Point. Here we caught up with K20 and K38. Two members of K pod, a Female Resident
Orca and her calf. We enjoyed
watching them as they headed east in the flat calm water. Just a great sight as they swam in the placid water. Radar passed on a wealth of information on
Orcas and the other marine wildlife found in our waters. Once again another great trip with Prince of Whales.
