Ocean Magic Adventure Oct 8

It was another great day on the westcoast for whale watching. With the sun peeking out from fluffy clouds and calm water all around our passengers were in for a pleasant trip. Capt. Kurt took the 12.15pm Ocean Magic out west to meet up with two Transients Orca. These two were heading even farther west, taking long dives and then surfacing. No hunting activity was evident during our observation of T 20, the male and T 21, the female. We saw a curious gull hover overhead as well as many other species of gull at several bait-balls. On our return, a stop at Race Rocks gave us good looks at the marine life hauled out on the rocks as well as a Bald Eagle. Our final encounter with the wildlife in this area included three Humpback Whales that were actively foraging. It was a fun time once again with 'Prince of Whales'. Photos by Marie "Ocra-Magic"
