Ocean Magic Adventure Oct 12

Capt. Brad "Dyner" took our Ocean Magic adventure three miles west of Race Rocka were we found a group of 7 Transient Killer Whales. We watched them as they worked past only to discover two large male Transient Killer Whales following behind them. We managed an ID on the females, T49A's,T46B's,and T2's The two males remain unidentified and are thought to be part of the California Transient community. Derek, Shawn and Heather gave us in depth knowledge into the behavior of the whales. After veiwing these majestic Orca we headed to Race Rocks Ecological Reserve and viewed the wildlife. The Stellar Sea Lions, California Sea Lions and Harbor Seals. A few of the Stellars were feeding on salmon as we past. Another wonderful afternoon on the water in October.
