The Ocean Magic sailed into calm seas with Capt Tyler at the helm. Our trip took us out west with a tour of Race Rocks Ecological Reserve. We managed to see Stellar Sea Lions, California Sea Lions, Harbor Seals and a few Brown Pelicans. Derek, Shawn "Saltchuck" and Darcy were on hand to share their knowledge and answer all the questions. We then headed south deep into the strait of Juan De Fuca and found some of our Resident Killer Whales. L pod was working the water, looking for their favorite food..salmon. We were treated to a great display of breeching as the whales worked their way west. Another great whale watching adventure on the west coast.Photos by Clint "Orcawizard"
