Our Friday Ocean Magic Adventure took us south of Race Rocks. Here Capt. Gord set us up to view a pod of Transient Orca. These mammal eating whales were identified as the T2s. The three whales were taking four to five breaths then down for their deep dive. As we watched them two other transient Orca came into view closing in on our group, Identified as T20 and T21 . We enjoyed these mighty Killer Whales, then took a tour of Race Rocks Ecological Reserve. The Calfornia Sea Lions were barking and the Stellar Sea Lions were growling as we took in the sights and sounds of Race Rocks. October is a great month for whale watching!
