Ocean magic Wildlife Adventure Oct 4 9am

The 9am Ocean Magic set out into calm seas and sunshine. Our Captain Anna took us south west in search of marine wildlife. It wasn't long before her keen eyes caught sight of a Humpback Whale. This whale was with the company of a group of Steller Sea Lions. They appeared to be playing in the water, rolling and splashing. We watched as the Humpback raised its tail high out of the water, throwing water into the air. Just a wonder to watch these two species interact. We then headed off to view a giant group of Sea Gulls working a bait ball. There had to be thousand's of birds. Our trip then headed further south west where we caught up with some Dalls Porpoise. These fast swimming mammals played in our wake and splashed as they came up for air. Our crew of Mika and Derek answered all questions and passed along their in depth knowledge of the Pacific Northwest marine environment. We then toured Race Rocks Ecological reserve and viewed Steller Sea Lions, California Sea Lions, Bald Eagles and Harbour Seals. This was yet again another amazing late season wildlife adventure with Prince Of Whales!
