Sundays Ocean Magic was nothing short of awesome. Capt Tyler took us west where we had reports of a Transient Killer Whale. Our trip took us along the rugged coast line or Vancouver Island past Sooke to Sheringham Lighthouse. Here we caught up with T14 Pender a large adult male Orca. He was making his way northwest, taking a few breaths then down for his deep dives. We watched as his dorsal fin would slowly rise from the water to its full height some six feet out of the water as he rose the the surface to breathe. Such a magnificent Orca. After viewing T14 we left as he carried on his way up Vancouver islands coastline. We then headed to Race Rocks and took in the wonders that it holds. Elephant Seals, Harbour Seals, Steller Sealions and a Bald Eagle. The islands we alive with wildlife. Our crew of Mika, Liz and Derek filled us all with great information on all the wildlife we viewed making the trip very educational. Just was thought we were done our trip and were in the inner harbor preparing to dock, we spotted a River Otter on the rocky shore line. Once again a super trip on the water with Prince Of Whales.
