The 12.15pm Ocean Magic trip sailed across Haro Strait on flat, calm water to find those magical creatures, Orca. Although the sun played hide and seek with the clouds we didn't have far to seek out the whales for they were foraging off San Juan Island. Many members of J Pod were visible, including the big males, J 1, J 26, J 27 and J 30. A mother and her calf appeared to be chasing salmon. It was a wonderful experience again to see the Orca.
