It was one of those incredible days where the west coast weather surprised us with swirling fog and brilliant sunshine. Our skipper Mark, navigated the zodiac through the grey etheral mist, till we caught up with several members of L pod, including L 41 ''Mega''. They were on the move off shore at San Juan Island. Here, the sun shone and our experience was made even more magical by the surface vocalizations of L 57, 53 and 7. Their behaviour indicated they were communicating with one another. They stayed close to each other for several minutes and then disappeard fast heading south. It was another thrilling adventure with Prince of Whales. Photo's by Marie "Orca-Magic"
