Today we had quite the journey! We traveled on an epic adventure to the the Georgia Strait to catch up with K pod who was traveling at up to 30 knot speeds. We saw lots of speed porpoising and fast traveling action. We paralelled Cappucino K21 for a while and we could see the different high speed behaviors occuring in the distance as well. One of the animals rolled over giving some tail slaps. Spieden Island and Johns Island looks amazing. On our way home were treated to a slow pass through Johns Pass and through the other San Juan Islands. The water was lovely blue and the sky with a few fluffy white clouds. Perfect setting for today!
