The 12:15 Ocean Magic Adventure was pure magic. We set out of the harbor and headed off to the north end of San Juan Island. Capt Shamus "Shamu" a veteran skipper with Prince of Whales had us in perfect postion as the Orca worked their way north bound close to shore. These were the magestic Killer Whales of J K and L pods. Such a perfect afternoon of whale watching...but it gets better. We head west to the south west tip of James Island and we hook up with Transient Orca. These mammal eating Killer Whales were playing, spyhoping and breaching. First Mate Brad "Dyner" and Marine Biologists Mika and Nicola gave in depth commentary about Ocra through out the trip.
